Why study STEM?



Welcome to Holt Library at Southwestern Community College!  

Feel free to stop by and visit us at the south end of Jackson Campus in Sylva. 

The SCC Library offers professional research assistance; online and hard-copy research sources; study spaces; a computer lab environment; research instruction; conference room, study rooms and snack room.

All students, faculty, and staff of SCC may check out materials by using their SCC ID card as a Library Card. Please bring the SCC ID card in with you.

Adult residents of Jackson, Macon & Swain County and the Qualla Boundary are welcome to use the library facility and materials. Residents can bring in their NC Driver's License or NC photo ID card, and register for a free Library Card at the service desk. 

Library users are personally responsible for the safety, proper use and return of all library materials they check out. Users are NOT authorized to lend checked-out materials to others. Users agree to return or renew check-outs on time and/or to pay any fees assessed on their library account.
