Can I make a phone or e-mail request to have articles sent from the Holt Library to my location?
Most of our articles are available electronically; contact us if you have difficulty finding the article you need and we will do our best to help you.
Can I make a phone or e-mail request to have books sent from the Holt Library to my location?
The quickest way to receive a book is to use the Interlibrary Loan function by placing the book on hold using the online catalog. This is covered in the Holt Library Student Course (contained in Blackboard). If you do not live near a participating library, please contact the library either via phone (800.447.4091, ext. 4288) or email (email@example.com) to seek alternative options.
How do I access a library database listed in this guide?

Can I ask the Holt Library staff for help if I run into a research problem?
Absolutely! You can call the library during normal business hours (800.447.4091, ext. 4288) After hours or on weekends you can also use the NCKnows link (On the left side of this page) Alternatively, you can send an email message to email@example.com.
What if I have a technical problem such as finding myself unable to access online library materials?

If I am on campus, can I check out books from the library?
Certainly! You will need to have a library account with the Holt Library, however. Visit the cashier’s office in the Balsam building to obtain your library/student id card; then, email or call Holt Library using the contact info here. (We can even email you the form which will register your student ID as your library card.) You can renew a book by telephone (800.447.4091, ext. 4288) or email (email@example.com). You are responsible to get items back to us safely and on time.
