Study Aids

Holt Library has educational aids available for students, including:

  • Full size model human skeleton
  • Individual human bone models
  • Compound Microscope, Parco 

In order to ensure that Reserve materials will be available to all students, please help us by following these rules:

  • BRING your student ID 
  • be ready to use these resources IN THE LIBRARY ONLY (you cannot check them out!)
  • plan to reserve a study room while using body/organ models (you'll need the space to interact comfortably with the skeleton, circulation model, and kidneys!)

About items on Reserve at Holt Library

  • Books and materials available for your field of study are placed on Reserve for you in Holt Library

  • Reserve items are selected by your instructors. They WANT you to use these resources

  • These items must be used in the library only and are not available for checkout

  • Bring your student ID to use materials. (You should carry your SCC student ID at all times.)

  • We have study rooms available for student study groups.
