The Libby App
The Libby app is the easiest way to get started with digital books, and audiobooks.
- Install the Libby app from the app store on for your Android, device or for iOS for iPhone/ iPad/iPod touch, or Windows 10 device. Or, visit meet.libbyapp.com in your Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge browser.
- From the Holt Library Digital Dogwood page, click "Sign In" and Select Southwestern Community College library from the dropdown menu, and sign in with your SCC email username and password if prompted or if asked for a Library Card number, use SWC_XXX (the last 4 numbers of your student ID number).
- Browse the Dogwood Digital library collection and borrow a title.
- Borrowed titles appear under Shelf > Loans and download to the app automatically when you're on Wi-Fi, so you can read them when you’re offline. From your Loans, you can:
- Tap Read With... to choose whether you'd like to open a book in Kindle
- Tap Open Audiobook to start reading or listening to that title.
- Tap Manage Loan to see options like Renew and Return.
