Library Instruction

Librarians are happy to support your students wherever we can, whether that's in the library or in your classroom. We would love to visit your class and teach your students about library resources, sources and citation, or the whole research process. You are also welcome to bring your class to the library for research instruction followed by a hands-on opportunity to try out the resources onsite. Library instruction is tailored to you and your students needs, so all lessons are adaptable to whatever project you're working on.

Faculty can request library instruction through the request form or by emailing the instruction librarian, Torrie TatumPlease make all requests at least one week in advance of when you would like instruction to take place.

If class time instruction doesn't work for you, the librarians are also available to meet with instructors one-on-one to cover library basics. We also offer individual research assistance for students who are either struggling with research or miss out on in-class research instruction.
