Faculty and Staff Library Resources

Your account at Holt Library is created when you register for classes at SCC. You will need an SCC student ID card or other valid picture ID to borrow materials from the library. 

• Obtain your SCC ID card at New Student Orientation or contact the Cashier's office, Balsam 170, or call at 828.339.4290
• Non-students can obtain a library card with us using this online form, OR email us at library@southwesterncc.edu
• Book checkout period is 4 weeks and students and faculty may renew items up to 2 times. 
• Lost or damaged books will be billed at the cost of replacement and must be paid at the Business Office on the Jackson Campus.
• Email us at library@southwesterncc.edu if we can find items for you

Remember, if we don't hold the book you need, you can request it from another community college library in North Carolina.

Please allow at least a week for delivery, and be sure we have your current phone number/email address so that we can notify you when items arrive.
