Faculty and Staff Library Resources

How anyone (students, faculty, staff) can open a library account:

To borrow print materials and DVDs or to borrow an item from another library:

• Obtain an SCC ID card (with a bar code on the back) from the Cashier's office. For students, this is best accomplished during Orientation.
• Bring your ID to Holt Library. Fill out a simple form.

                    OR   Fill out a form online. Request the form by emailing library@southwesterncc.edu.

That's it! We'll create a library account for you.

You do NOT have to register a library account if you are a distance learner or if you only want online resources.

But you must log in to MySCC to gain access to NC LIVE, and EBSCO databases!

Because these are created by our very own library staff, they are customized for our school and the resources the library and the campus offer.

We can help you offer your students exactly what you want and organize course materials effectively. You can teach right from a Guide! We can embed a link into your online course at your request and put the library directly into your students' hands.
