Faculty and Staff Library Resources

• Students must present a valid SCC ID card to use materials. (These materials are not available to non-students.)

• Students must use items here in the library unless other arrangements have been made. (Videos might check out overnight, for example, based on your preferences for each item.)

• Study rooms in which to use or view Reserve items are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Headphones will not be provided. Students can view videos at workstations, but will need to bring their own headsets or earbuds.

• Bring your item(s) to the library OR designate items that are in our existing collections

• Establish your own library account by presenting your SCC ID card (we use the 14-digit number on the back) if you don't already have one

• Provide us with your contact information and how you wish for the item to be used (we will ask you to fill out a form; we can email you the form. Request it by emailing library@southwesterncc.edu.)

We will list your item(s) in a corresponding Library Research Guide, if one exists, and will provide student access during regular operating hours.

Let your students know that they must bring their SCC ID card to use Reserve items, and that these items will be used in the library only--they are not for checkout.
