Educational Opportunities offers students and community members connections to prepare for and succeed in college and/or the workplace. The department consists of six distinct areas that work cooperatively to meet the needs of all student learning.

Library Instruction

TURNING ON THE ONLINE LIBRARY INSTRUCTION COURSE

  • Sign in to  Moodle
  • Click the "Holt Library Instruction Course" button.
  • Click on the menu and choose "Show"
  • You may need to click "Enroll Me" to access.
  • You will receive a printable certificate when you complete the course, which you can save or email to your instructor. 
  • If you do not see this link listed in your Moodle course, or have trouble activating it, please submit a help ticket (or call) E-learning.

PrepStep & Board Vitals

Click on PrepSTEP link and choose "College Library" to access PrepSTEP academic test preparation resources.  Includes:

College Prep: Basic Skills, AP, HS Equivalency, SAT, STEM Resources, ACT, CLEP, DSST, PSAT, College/Scholarship Search, Resume Writing

Nursing Exams: TEAS, NCLEX-RN, NCLEX-PN and Nurse Aide exam prep. 

Career Certifications: (Accounting, ACT WorkKeys, American Foreign Service Officer, Vocational Tech Schools, Clerical, Cosmetology, Firefighter, Law Enforcement, Medical/Nursing, ASVAB/AFOQT, Postal Service, Real Estate, Social Work, Teacher) and Virtual Career Library.
